THIS IS FOR STUDENTS STUDYING A HEALTH AND SOCIAL SUPPORTED INTERNSHIP AT BRIDGWATER COLLEGE

The course fees support students in developing employment skills and gaining vocational experience through the provision of essential equipment, materials, and personal protective equipment (PPE) like safety gear and uniforms.

They cover the costs of tools and resources for practical training, classroom projects, external work-related experiences, as well as specialised trips and visits, including transport costs. These activities enhance teambuilding, independence, social skills, and employment readiness.

This fee also covers the cost of applying for an Enhanced DBS check which is required for working in the hospital.

A payment of £187.10 is required to cover these costs and should be paid in full prior to the course starting in September, however, you can also pay in two instalments of £93.55 each by this deadline.

Students receiving a Learning Support Fund (LSF) may have some or all costs covered by their bursary
