A 3-day residential trip to the Mendip Activity Centre for the Bridgwater College Level 3 first year Sport and Uniformed Protective Services students.

The students will take part in outdoor activities including Paddle Boarding, Archery, Bushcraft and Axe Throwing. All activities will allow students to develop their skill sets in climbing, water and target sport.

The residential is a fantastic opportunity to team build and bond with peers and tutors.

The payment of £250.00 can either be paid in full by 18 September 2026, or in two payments.

Instalment 1 £125.00 to be paid by 18 September 2026

Instalment 2 of £125.00 to be paid by 9 October 2026

Level 3 Sport & Exercise Science students are going to Port Elizabeth, South Africa to volunteer for the 'United Through Sport' charity.

The charity looks to educate and inspire children within the deprived township areas. The students will coach football, rugby, netball and hockey in six different primary schools. They will run and organise a tournament for these children in which students and staff will fundraise to be able to provide trophies and lunches for the children.

Alongside coaching, the students will also teach maths and English in the classrooms, further developing their leadership skills. Lastly, they will also have the opportunity to experience some of the African culture.

The cost for the trip is £2300.00 and can be paid as follows:

Deposit - £600.00 paid by 26/06/2026

Instalment 1 - £850.00 paid by 30/10/2026 

Instalment 2 - £850.00 paid by 22/01/2027
